The ancient port city of Acre in Northern Israel is an eclectic mix of history and modernity. Acre is famous for its outstanding food, unique culture, and combination of new and old traditions. Because of that, I highly recommend it for a visit the next time you are in the area!
As a fashionista, I have always been intrigued by Acre's potential for fusing my modern wardrobe with the more ancient landscapes that Acre has to offer, so I packed up the car, and together with my trusty cameraman (otherwise known as Hubby) trekked up towards Acre.
We made the usual circuit of the sites (the crusader fortress, the old city, the marina and fishing port, the market) looking for the perfect background for my gorgeous beaded dress designed by the super talented crew over at ROCK THE BOAT. It wasn't until we got to the old port that I yelled YES! And whipped out the camera.
So how did I rock this awesome dress? As always, when styling my outfits I bring them to life by choosing at least one piece as a designated polar opposite.
For today's combo, I combine this dazzling dress with statement gold heels, and to bump up the glamour factor I layered with a Lush Meadow green faux fur jacket from Zara.
Don't forget that the final touch is the best way to really make your wardrobe pop, from minimalist outfits to the gaudy and glamorous if you perfect the final touch, there is no doubt you will be unforgettable.
