swimsuit for your body type

Summer is here, and we’re rushing over to the happiest place around- the beach or the pool. When it comes to wearing a swimsuit, most of us will feel a little insecure with our body. Should I wear this swimsuit? Is it fluttering my body? Eventually, Everyone has some insecurities about their body.

STOP LOOKING ON OTHERS- START FOCUS ON YOURSELF

As a teenager my body image was low, I always thought I’m not the skinniest, the prettiest and looked on others wishing to look like them. Looking on others drives all the positive energy away from you. I will never look like anyone but me. So, it’s a waste of energy.

Lets face it, wearing only swimsuit and going out barely naked doesn’t help to overcome those insecurities. But, I discover that most of us criticize their body (I never met anyone that feel confidence with everything about themselves, especially when it comes to swimsuit), so, focus on you, understand your body shape and choose a swimsuit that feels the most flattering and comfortable for you.

Here is a few tips on choosing the right swimsuit for your body type:

CURVY ONLY AROUND YOUR HIPS – LIKE A PEAR

If you have a bigger hips then your bust consider to volumize your bust to create the illusion your hips and bust are the same size. With the years went by, my body type changed and look more like a pear. That is why I love wearing ruffle tops bikinis that way my upper body look a bit bigger.

NO CURVES? NO PROBLEM - LIKE A TENNIS PLAYER

If you have Straight up & down body type you should highlight the thinnest part of your waist (just above your bons) so your hips and bust appear larger and more proportional. That way, you will create illusion of an hourglass silhouette.
